Mark Goodman will lead a session on history, music and the Bagpipes - a bit of talking & a bit of playing. Bring along ANY instrument; we do mean ANY instrument even a comb & paper, a swanny whistle or your pet cat. But if you are a bit more adventurous Mark will bring a variety of sets of bagpipes for you to have a go on from the earlier pan-European through to the Uilleann pipes and the vPipes.
Mark is the male part of the Goodman family – outnumbered by Ruth, Katherine, Eve and Amber the cat !. Probably why he took up loud instruments in the first place. He first started playing music at Exeter University in the mid 1980s & not regretted it (Ruth on the other hand…).
