I asked the butcher for the meat on the top shelf...

...he refused because the steaks were too high.

Two things are coming. Each is cataclysmic. Each is terrifying. Each, if you have any sense, is unmissable.

Firstly - the END of the Early Bird Discount - ticket prices get more expensive as of the 11:59pm on the 31st of January. So if you haven’t bought your tickets yet, now is the time to do it! This promises to be such an awesome festival, and we would absolutely love to share it with you! Buy your tickets at https://ivfdf2017.org.uk/tickets-and-merchandise .

There is also a T-shirt, Sweatshirt and Hoodies order deadline at 11pm on Sunday 5th February - make sure you pre-order your T-shirts with your tickets, as there will be very few on sale at IVFDF!

We are also still looking for stewards - an absolutely awesome way to get involved with the festival, helping you to get to know people, and have an absolutely awesome time. Sign up at https://ivfdf2017.org.uk/content/stewarding-signup .

With a ceilidh, Playford and a contra on Friday evening, a ceilidh, a Bal, a contra and a Scottish Country Dance on Saturday evening, a late night Electonic Dance Music Ceilidh, a survivor's ceilidh on Sunday afternoon, a display ceilidh on Saturday afternoon, and 48 workshops running on Saturday and Sunday mornings, all requiring no previous experience of any particular dancing, this looks like an incredibly exciting IVFDF, all happening at The Junction and Hills Road Sixth Form College near the train station - ideal if you are coming from out of town! We have a huge variety of dance forms - from Scottish Country to Highland, Shag to Morris. Get your tickets for IVFDF 2017 at https://ivfdf2017.org.uk/ (and if you do it before the end of January, you get an early bird discount)!!! Running over 24th-26th February, with already 200 tickets sold, this is going to be the most awesome dance event of term!!!

If you want to get even more excited (if possible), we even have an official radio station, and they did a special show all about this IVFDF - see http://www.camfm.co.uk/shows/camfolk/ (or like their Facebook Page at https://www.facebook.com/CamFolkonCamFM/ ).

Secondly, the Apolkalypse is coming. Dance for your lives.

The details of Apolkalypse are completely unknown, but it is happening after the Saturday evening ceilidh. It should be awesome. It will be terrifying. It will be awesome. It will be longer than seven words. Come. (And after the Apolkalypse there will be Late night dancing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBJtqpmKxCQ).
