Tried to sue an airline after my bag got torn to shreds...
...My lawyer didn't think I had much of a case.
It is very nearly here. IVFDF!!!!!!
First off some sad news. Unfortunately we are very sorry to announce that due to travel issues Sons Libres will not be joining us. However, all is not lost as Les Zéoles will be playing for the Bal instead
Secondly the time you have all been waiting for (sorry it has been a long wait), the final weekend programme is now up on the website. Look through it to work out what you want to do when at https://ivfdf2017.org.uk/content/programme
Thirdly after working through all the pubs in Cambridge (there are over 100 - it’s a hard life, isn’t it?) we have finalised music sessions that are going to be happening throughout IVFDF Cambridge 2017, and we've decided that we should have it in the upstairs bar of the Junction so you don't have to stagger too far (all that pub research wasted... hic... but do go and frequent the local pubs there are amazing). This festival will not only be completely awesome to dancers, but also to musicians.

We have workshops for musicians in the mornings, the final survivors’ ceilidh will be played by a scratch band created within the festival, led by the absolutely amazing Stephanie Martin, who has been playing folk music for a number of years now! If you want to join the scratch band then come along to the practice on Sunday morning, most of the music that will be played in the scratch band is up on the website, just follow the link to the practice.
And fourthly... We have a official radio station - Camfolk on Cam FM, and they are running a competition to win a free Friday evening ticket (or get that refunded off your ticket if you already have one). Go to https://www.facebook.com/CamFolkonCamFM/ for more details!!!
Here is a video proving that IVFDF sessions are fun - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t_Z3J63Pd-8 !!! Anyway, now that the committee have tested all 100+ pubs in Cambridge, we are looking forward to seeing you on Friday when we might be able to stand up again… hic…
Muffyn
PS How many conductors does it take to change a light bulb?
No-one knows, as no-one ever looks at them.
