Stan Warren: a very popular caller in Reading who called for the opening dance of the 1982 IVFDF. As a regular caller for the Reading University Folk Dance Society in the 1970s and 1980s, Stan introduced Balkan circle dances: he may be indirectly responsible for the tradition of finishing IVFDF with Cerkassia Kfula. This photo was taken at the RUUFDS Reunion in 2004, but Stan looks exactly as he did in 1982.
