Facilities on Campus

All the festivities will be held in the Guild building: Devonshire House (DH). A down-loadable map of the campus is available but one will be supplied with your working program when you arrive. We've made a list of things it might be useful to know before you arrive but please note these maybe open to change and cannot be absolutely guaranteed at the time of writing.

Food and Drink

There will be several places to get hot and cold food during the weekend. Both the University and Guild will be opening their food outlets downstairs in Devonshire House. On Friday and Sat the Refectory will be open from 5:30-8:30 pm for hot and cold food. It will be open again from 8:00-9:30 am for breakfast. The Coffee Bar will be open from 10am to 4pm on Sat and Sun for snacks and drinks etc. Hot and cold food can also be obtained from Guild bar, the Ram (downstairs) from 12:00-9:30 pm on both Friday and Sat. The Balcony Bar will be open for food on Sun from 10 am-3 pm. There is also a university run shop that is open from 10am to 4pm on Sat.

The main baggage room is the Exeter Room above therefectory. Everything left there is at your own risk. A limited number of Instruments can be stored behind reception will be stewarded at all times.

Banks

There is only one bank on campus-Natwest- with 2 cash machines. All the major banks can be found in the city center.

Telephones

Most of the public phones on campus only use BT cards. There are a couple of public phones that take coins but they're few and far between. There is one outside the main entrance to the Great Hall. More posted as and when we find them :-).
