		+	A ceilidh band was formed for the display ceilidh, and a number of tunes where written especially for that performance. The tune names are all anagrams of the names people who played in the band. Both Strict Hot Hen Banana, and Owl Hut Rant where played in a set known as the Hoole Street hornpipes (named after the street on which the author lived, and the band rehearsed on). The Hoole street hornpipes enjoyed a life out side the festival being played by a number of Sheffield bands for years to come. Members the scratch band later went on the form an number of bands that are still involved the IVFDF to this day (Virtical Expression, Trinculo, Minniemoosika).
