Hello, and welcome to the Inter-Varsity Folk Dance Festival 2010, more commonly known as IVFDF. This year we are proud to welcome you to Durham. It's taking place 5th-7th of March 2010 and is shaping up to be a fun-filled weekend.

Have a look round the website to find out who is performing as well as information about IVFDF and more about the North East. Any questions? Feel free to drop us an email.

Be aware:

  • You cannot drive to Allington House, so you need to park-up first.

  • If you don't have a sleeping ticket, you cannot sleep in any of the IVFDF sleeping venues.

Ticket Sales

Pre-ordering tickets has now closed, (or shall be very very soon). Please do not pre-order any more tickets.

There are still tickets available for the festival (but no sleeping venue tickets), so you can buy them at the weekend. Individual events can be bought on the door to the event, but for Weekend/Day tickets, and for programmes, you need to come to the the Festival Office in Alington House.

Sleeping Venue

We are now at capacity for sleeping venue tickets. If you do not have an Indoor Camping ticket, bought separatly from a weekend season ticket, then there will be no space for you.

Due to Durham being an old city with few sleeping venues, we are now fully booked at all sleeping venues, and we're stuggling to find more!

Please email if this causes a very large problem (eg. you are a large group) and we shall see what we can do. If we find more sleeping space, then we will update the website accordingly.

There are still some indoor camping places reserved for stewards so if you are applying to be a steward please let us know if you would like an indoor camping space when you send your application form. More information about stewarding can be found here.
